Bit question. . .

I have posted about my boy coming behind the verticle before. I know this is an evasion so i have been having lessons and he has been getting better. I have been really pushing him forwards and he has been working really well. Last couple of times i have schooled him he has started to do it again how ever much i push him on or raise my hands, he still does it.

He is in a Hanging cheek which i do realy like as he is ridden otherwise in a gag for xc and sj.

I was just wondering really that if i tried to ride him in a bit that didnt have poll presure would it make any diffence? I have access to a french link with fulmer cheeks that fits him, and a eggbutt french link which fits him. Would it just be worth a try to see how he goes in these? If i try him in bit a bit with fulmer cheeks will i have to use those strap things that go from the bridle to the top of the fullmer?(sorry if that last bit was a bit confuzling i cant remember the name)

try a mullen mouth bit?
my boy in the sig wont go nicely in anything if it has a joint, he just backs behind it. i ride him in all phases in a mullen rubber mouth snaffle and he loves it. u can have more in your hands and its fab
just test anything you can really
