bit question

if my horse wears a very very thick eggbut snaffle can i change it to a thinner one without any change or is there a big differnce between them??

Hmmm...that's not entirely true. Yes it has a larger surface area but few Horses have enough room in their mouths to cope with a very thick snaffle. A thinner bit usually conforms to a Horses mouth better.
