Bit ring size help...

Ok, so I am going to try the NS Verbindend from the bit bank but I need to order the 55mm rings or the 70mm rings. Forgive my stupidness but how do I know what size I need?

I had one, you need the larger rings but I can't remember why .
I used to have one. I'm trying to remember if the smaller rings were for if it was used as a bradoon but I really can't recall sorry.

Hey, the 55mm are often for a bradoon or a small, dainty head on a horse.
I accidently purchased a NS 12mm mouthpiece with 55mm rings because the second I said she's a TB and has a thick tongue they gave me the thinnest, smallest bit.

But when I took it home, it looked rather odd in her mouth, went and swapped it for 14mm and 70mm rings. Hope this helps.
