Before I start, the horse has had it's teeth done all ''A ok''. She is a tooth grinder which was the reason she has her teeth done more regular than most horses. Had vet checks for everything, snaffle ridden, tried all kinds of metals, bit types, bit side types and have tried rubber bits. However she always ends up with cracked sides of her mouth. I must add she does not pull and is completely off the hand (schooled never to be held by a rein) Completely baffled how she manages it. To prove it's not the way she's ridden she gets it in-hand as well. Going to try riding in a bit less until I find a way around this problem but she is a show pony so can't be ridden in the ring bit less so need to sort this asap. She has such a soft mouth it's almost as though the skin can't cope with anything near it.... Anyways to prevent this?
