after owning the grey one for a while now and getting sick of him going round like a girraffe we FINALLY found the buttons out hacking today and he was merrily strolling around in an outline (hoorah!!!)

would just like to say to anyone whos horse/ pony is as reluctant as mine was to stick with them schooling and the benefits will soon follow

Oh well done - have been trying to get my daughters pony to do that for the last three years and we only get it for a couple of strides so really well done you.

Well done, I'm trying to do that with my horse, I know he can do it and he carries himself beautifully, but an outline would be good! I'm only hacking at the moment but I'm sure its possible with some more work, he wears a running martingale..whats the best way of doing it out on a hack? I have done it before but that was at a riding school last summer.
