I have a turbo cob she is very forward which is great but evades the contact. She came to me with a sweet iron snaffle with copper rings in the middle which is not dressage legal, I consulted a bit specialist and she recommended a eggbut barrel snaffle now the this is a bit thicker than the original bit and she does lock onto it. I am working on my own hands riding with a consistent and forward contact and she does soften eventually but still feels a bit blocky. Just wondered if anyone else has encountered something similar and has any suggestions?
Thanks

a girl on my yard, and I, have both had the same traits from our ponies - both are now in a fager julia, which has been successful!

give the bit bank a call, they were very helpful with both of us:)
