I've had my youngster for six months now and he's coming along just grand but i've started to realise that i don't think the bit i've had in him is quite suitable anymore. I've got a loose ring french link but i've got a feeling he's not liking the movement that this bit gives. Having never really used hanging cheek or fulmer bits i just wondered if anyone could suggest a bit for him.
He doesn't lean, doesn't bolt etc. Just sometimes will have a nose poke if confused or doesn't like something so i just need a mild bit for him. He does prefer lozenge/link type bits to jointed ones.
Trouble is i need to be able to have a bit to hunt or do cross country in and he does get a little stronger when out so maybe two bit suggestions if poss
