Bit Suggestions

I'm thinking of switching my horses bit. She's currently in a double jointed happy mouth loose ring snaffle. But she tends to chew it a bit and the bit is looking a bit chomped on and in certain places started to develop edges. She goes pretty well in this but would prefer something that would encourage a lower headcarriage (I'm sure her dam was actually a giraffe). Been looking at the nathe bits and thought they looked interesting but I have no experience of them - can anybody tell me anything about them? I won't put her in anything with poll pressure though as she is extemely poll sensitive and would ideally like to stay with a double jointed mouth piece.

I realise I've left not much room for maneuver but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also don't want to go out and spend a fortune on a bit that I'll try once and it might not work out (in the Netherlands so bit bank isn't an option).

I used to trim my happy mouth bit with a razor blade, but watch your fingers! The bit was smooth again afterwards.

i use sand paper to sort out the sharp bits on mine!
