Apparently while I have been down south at Weezy's party some random woman who we can't place at all has been seen luking outside my horses' field on both the Saturday and Sunday. She is blond and drives a dark 57 plate Skoda (OH's descriptions from instructor, I've not had chance to speak to instructor yet). My instructor was looking after my horses while I was away but she was at competitions during parts of both days so I'm not sure how much lurking this woman has been doing. My instructor thought it was just an innocent incident until it happened on the Sunday too but when she went to take down the car reg the woman drove off. I know it could just be totally innocent, I sometimes stop to watch the little shire colt playing in a farmer's field on way home from my mum's house, but I just worry so much that it is something more (plus I stay in my car to look). To get to the field they would need to pass one house, go across a whole yard and through 3 gates and then the field can be seen through the window of another house so it's not totally isolated. Horses are microchipped and freezemarked but what else can I do to make it more secure?

Make sure the gate cant be taken off the hinges and it has a decent chain/padlock. Ensure there are no back routes either.

Put up signs as fazzie says and also saying they are chipped/freezemarked
