OK so horses have moved in to a friends huge field so they have some grass. They are sectioned off about half of it with electric fencing. There are three strands, the tallest being just over 5ft. The rest of the field is contained so not too concerned atm.
However they are out with friends pony. Said pony is a monkey and a half and has always fence jumped. He's only 13hh but can clear the current fence from a standstill
. He was on his own so we figured with friends and plenty to eat he'd say blooming put. As if
. He's still doing it, and in to the bit with no grass. This appears to be habit now and looks like attention seeking (oh if higher the fence he will squeeze through it on or not). Now worried our two will follow and I do NOT want a fence jumper
.
Any experiences?, how likely do people think the others following is?. TBH the way I see it it's more likely the longer current situation stays. May have to spend another day fencing and move them
