MY friends mare 9yo 16hh throughbred has been a bit off for a few days yestaday she came in cold even tho she had a lightweight and medium with neck on she was dehydrated refused to eat but her temp was normal we checked her through the night an this morning again she hadnt eaten or drunk much and only 2 poos over 14 hrs her skin on her neck stuck up for about 3 seconds indicating she was quite dehydrated altho she was still bright in her eyes and alert called the vet and he came took some bloods but dose any1 reconise these symptoms as to what might be wrong vet just gave antibiotics for 3 days to c how she goes was not overly helpfull in saying what he thought was wrong ........ any idears?
