My terrier bitch is in season at the moment and the neighbours mongrel is coming up to the yard to visit her....I've had to keep her locked up as he is not done but yesterday morning she ran off before I could lock her up and I went looking for her and she was with the neighbours dog but I didn't see them in the 'act'. I am taking her to the vet this evening to get the injection but I noticed today she is still bleeding does this mean she might not have been impregnated?? I will still bring her to the vet to be on the safe side!
 
Nope it certainly doesn't mean she hasn't been mated. Bitches can carry on bleeding for several days/weeks after mating, and often the bleeding is heavier than before they were mated. You need to keep that vets appointment.
