Bitches and seasons

Our lab pup bitch will be 1 at the end of this month!! Where has that time gone! She came into season beggining of Dec. She went back to training second week in Jan so must have been well over it by then. Her ' bits' have swelled again. She is humping the dog bed and is just being a bit full on. Surely she can't be coming into season again? Is it just hormones? I don't think it's an infection as she is fine in herself, not drinking or licking excessively, any ideas please?

Not sure, but my sister has a young Lab x she has had first season, but has also had a couple of times where her bits have swelled up, for no apparent reason

Might she be having a phantom pregnancy? How are her boobs?
Mine (the same age) is showing no signs over ever having one (a season). Just in case you were interested (not very, I doubt!).

Boob's are fine. I suppose they are all different!! I'm sure yours won't be long!!

Will give vet a call on Monday, don't suppose there would be a lot we could if it is?

About a week to ten days then back to normal

The dog in my profile used to come into season every four months starting at nine months of age, her mother and the sisters her breeder kept were the same. Your girl could very well be starting another season if she has the same cycle pattern.
