Bitchs first season!

My 8 month old JRT has just began her first season and has turned into a complete nightmare! She is extremely well socialised and has always been friendly with all other animals, now she wants to murder all other dogs, although is ok with our spayed female labrador.

Just wondered if anybody else had any experience with this or advice? Never had a problem with any of our labs, but she has serious PMT!

Sorry, no help - but our little one was her same sweet little self during her first season.

Interestingly though, she did go to the groomers ay that time - and the groomer did comment on the personality change of terriers during their heat.

Our lab x pointer is having her first (and last!) season, and she hasn't changed at all - other than being a bit more lively due to less exercise than usual.

Maybe changes in personality is common with terriers then? She is absolutely fine with people still just completely loses it with all other dogs (even the ones that we walk and socialise with regularly). Poor girly
