Right, no condemnation please, i'm going to do the right thing if necessary... already booked in for vet scan on Wed.
1 of my girls was in season (her first), finished 2 weeks ago. watched her like a hawk the whole time but unfortunately OH let her out once while i wasn't looking and she was gone for 10 mins (we live in the middle of nowhere so this isn't as bad as it sounds...) and she went AWOL once when i was distracted for a minute, so i guess there's a chance that she might be up the duff.
if scan is positive, i'll see if the vet can do a morning-after-pill for her, or spay i guess. i'd feel very guilty but there are enough unwanted pups in the world, and i don't have friends lined up for these pups, if there are any...
the only signs are that her nipples are a bit more defined than usual, hanging down a little and slightly fat around that area.
is this normal for a post-season bitch anyway?
or, is it a sign of the start of pregnancy?
worrying myself sick here.
thanks for any replies (as long as they're not insulting!)
