This, I've recently moved from a yard I'd been on for 6 years, the bitching just got out of control (one woman) Bitching on it's own I could handle, but the dragon in question is a real S*** stirrer and has made many peoples lives unhappy. I just decided that my horses are a hobby and that is something that should be enjoyed and when you're waking up and dreading going to the yard, it's a ridiculous notion to even consider staying. So I left and it's the best decision I've made in a long time. The YO didn't make it easy lots of emotional crap but I have never looked back!!
 
That's the whole reason when I buy my new pony later in the year that I'm not at a yard! I had a fight with a girls non horsey friend and her best friend who kept a pony at the yard stopped talking to me. It turned into me feeling everyone was judging me.
I used to be there for ages helping out before my lesson and staying for ages afterwards + showing there every time there was a show.
After the fight and when I lost most of my yard friends I only went there for lessons and don't show any more!
When I buy the pony I'm keeping it in my own field and not going to the yard anymore.
I think it's a thing that comes with the territory of yards. There are just some people that hate people on the yard. It's horrible but sometimes you just have to get in with it and focus on your pony
