Evening all,
My horse is currently ridden in a loose ring snaffle with a losenge. My riding instructor has suggested changing to an egbutt snaffle or a myler as he has a tendency to lean on my hand and also to tuck hi nose towards his chest slightly and we feel as filler bit would help.

can anyone advise if they think this is the right bit for these issues or recommend any others?

please advise only regarding biting suggestions as we are working on schooling improvements with my instructor. I appreciate biting will only get us so far.

many thanks

I would definitely try it one of mine goes much better in an eggbutt or a hanging cheek over a loose ring some like the stability of them, I mainly use a hanging cheek with lozenge sweet iron snaffle for everyday.

My other horse is better in a loose ring he overbends and is just not as settled in a hanging cheek or eggbutt so they are all different.
