Does anyone compete BS in a bitless bridle? Im not talking a hackamore type, but like a side pull etc.? Im considering trying mine in one just because I feel she might prefer it, but Im not sure whats allowed these days and if they give clear enough instruction for turning tight in jump offs etc.?

I have used an Lg Zaum for general riding and found the results same as a but.

However it was used on a horse who’d had plenty of ridden schooling, and extensive in hand ground work. He gave to pressure very well.

Thanks, and did you compete in it? Im not entirely sure what the BS and BE rules are regarding bitless bridles these days (obv not allowed for BE dressage, quite why I dont know...)

Yes our horse has been competing in a side pull since last autumn. What we were using was fine with the rule book and no problems. Competed British Novice second rounds.
