Bitless Dressage

Hi,
There's a dressage show going on at the riding school up the road from my yard. Unaffiliated, being ran with current dressage rules.
Will I be able to do this bitless or do I have to use a snaffle?

If the 'current dressage rules' are BD rules - no. You must use a bit.

Most likely, I have no clue with dressage haha. Think I'll just stick to my jumping then!

If it is quite an informal event, might be worth you having a word with the secretary. If you want to do it just for the experience they might let you go 'hors concours' - you won't be eligible for a rosette but might be worthwhile to get the final score, testsheet and judge's comments.

If they are running BD rules then no, bitless bridles are not allowed.
