bitless in comps

well im guessing unaffiliated stuff is ok bitless, but can anyone tell me whether its ok to compete bitless in sj and xcountry ?

i know its not in dressage, as to xc i'm not sure but i think you're allowed in sj. if you can ride with a bridleless bit then you you be allowed to ride in a bitless bridle

i kind of guessed for dressage it wouldnt be lol, anyone with any serious comments, just a girl posted a few weeks back she was disqualified for riding bitless, is there any actual rules stating u cant jump bitless, i mean a dr cooks not a hackamore ty

You can use any type of bit for Show Jumping and Cross Country, for Dressage you must use a permitted snaffle. Mounted Games also have strict rules regarding the types of bits that can be used.

I XC'd mine in a Dr Cooks while he was waiting for the removal of a ectopic wolf tooth. It was quite exhilarating.

I think BRC are banning bitlesses for next year though.
