Tom , 4 and a half year old cob is ridden in a loose ring French link snaffle. Lovely when schooling but slightly lacking in brakes when cantering in company ( and rather strong). I don't want t be hauling on his mouth to slow him down. Should I consider a slight change of bits or just consider this a schooling issue? I don't really have a clue akut bits tbh as my other cob has always been in the same bit.
