Hello, I have a 6 yr old sports horse and at the moment I have him in a standard eggbut snaffle but he is gettting stronger and stronger in it, hacking he pulls my arms out when going for a canter, and during schooling he is very heavy in the forehand and overbends, and sometime leans down on the hand, (I try to have light hands) I have only had him for a few months and am planning on having lessons to improve our way of going and help him work through his back and use his behind to come up infront (lots of transition work and helping him become more supple etc) but I feel he needs something more than the eggbut snaffle, I don't want to overbit him as he is young and green, didnt know weather to just try a loose ring french link or something? something dressage legal to give me a bit more control for hacking too. any advice is welcome thanks
