I am after some bitting advice for my strong but sensitive mouthed tb x warmblood. My horse is forward going and enjoys jumping but i have a bitting dilema! I previously had him in a mullen mouth black rubber pelham but i found it to thick in his mouth, so iv tried a waterford universal and he didnt like it for the jumping he would just through his head in the air like it was to much, so i scrapped that idea put him in my elevator with a jointed mouth peice but it cut his mouth, so thats no good. I am really at a loose end as bitting im not very good with I dont think hes a lover of jointed bits, but sayin that for my flat work i ride him in a eggbut kk dynamic but there is no way i could jump him in that as its not strong enough. So its finding a bit for him that he likes and i have contol in, i have tried myler combis in the past but he didnt like that, tried tom thumb he didnt like that it was to much. So i dont really know what to do?? I am going to put him back in the mullen mouth black rubber pelham for now as it doesnt cut his mouth. He has a very fleshy mouth and quite a large tongue. Any info would be muchly appreciated
