hello, so I've currently got my horse in an eggbut snaffle however I've noticed that the bit, even though it fits, is sliding through his mouth, the obvious solution that I've found is a full cheek but I was just looking for some opinions on it, I find it difficult to get him to accept the bit and he's got a very soft mouth so I'm completely open to suggestions on this :) to complicate things even more when jumping he leans on the bit a lot especially after the jump and is always looking at the bottom of the jump so again, open to suggestions for this too TIA x (i have him in the same bit for jumping and he is a 16.1hh TB x)

I would try a fulmer snaffle with loops to keep it stable. Full cheeks to help with the sliding issue, although do check that you have the right size bit and are not over using your hands and causing the sliding issue.
Loops keep it stable, loose rings help to prevent leaning issues :)

perfect thanks a lot for the advice

full cheeks are a good idea have you thought about trying something with a roller mouth to stop the leaning? our ex racer has a d-ring copper roller mouth to stop him leaning and it does actually seem to work, but he needs to be kept soft as well and you said yours already has a soft mouth...:/
