slightly cheesed off lately,at my livery yard all horses are in together eg. grass livs together and stable liv's together . which i dont have a problem with, i think its good for horse to be together. but i know i cant stop this but its just a pain in the arse. in my field there is a 18.1 hh irish thingy and her and my horse are good buddys (thts a good thing) but when they groom each other the irish thingy gets a bit happy and grooms her bum and rips chunks out of her and makes her bleed. And my neddy is coming in nude

Can you not put something nasty tasting on your neddy's bum to deter them? I would have thought it would only take a few weeks and they would get out of the habit.

I put vaseline on certain bits of my horse to keep the flies off, might work?
