My mare is really fussy with bits and I was wondering what people's preferences are between neue schule and myler bits please. The only material I've found she likes is plain old steel. She fussed far too much over sweet iron and didn't really like the rubber straight bar. However, she just finds it hard to relax into a contact in our normal steel french link so after something which. At encourage her a little more please
I was looking to buy a decent bit now as we're furthering her ridden education and stepping up a notch in the school, as she's only 6 I've mainly hacked her for the last year and a bit to strengthen her up and build muscle.
Before people say it, I've had teeth, saddle, back, physio, vet checks within the last few months and she's always been regularly checked since I've had her.

Is the current bit fixed ring or loose? I'd be trying whichever one you don't have, in normal material, before moving to an expensive bit.
