Now I know this has been done to death but I’m sort of stuck and in need of suggestions!
Horse was in a ns trans angled loose ring snaffle. She liked this bit but chomped on the bit a lot and draws her tongue up.
I’ve tried a variety of different bits over the years. Full check d ring straight bar eggbut and a normal loose ring and none suited, also tried flash, grackle and drop nosebands. She likes the loose ring action with a double jointed mouth peice but has always done the chomping and tongue thing. So I brought a myler style loose ring with slight poet she loves it and so much happier in the mouth however it is way to sharp on the flat. Is there any other dressage legal bits similar to a myler with a thicker mouth?
She has her back teeth and saddles checked and I’ve owned her for 7 years she’s always done it just more since she’s been in and out of work for the last 4 years due to different injuries to 3 legs 🙈
