Bought frontline from vets couple of weeks ago along with house spray and treated dogs, washed beds, sprayed and vacuumed house etc.
Scratching has reduced but dogs are still uncomfortable.
No sign of large adult fleas now but still have tiny ones.
Does this mean that the frontline has worked but the spray has failed and young are still hatching?
Should I leave it a little longer or should I retreat the dogs?
I hate loading them with chemicals but I'm starting to loose the will to live with the perpetual scratching :-(

Frontline has been having resistance issues and failing to work for the last few years.id look for another alternative spot on for the dogs with a different active ingredient if i were you...advocate advantage stronghold etc all available from the vet and no known resistence at this time.bob martin etc are a waste of time in a house infestaion issue.

You will need to treat the house again though as it will likely have been recolonised at this stage. 90 percent of the fleas lifecycle are living in the environment not on the pets.
have had good sucess reports with indorex spray hovering with a flea collar in the bag and spot ons before.

Flea infestations are a pain but i would be a chemical fan in this sort of scenario...curbs the problem a lot quicker.

Ooh timely post! My dog has been scratching dreadfully, have frontlined him and sprayed Indorex, still scratching,.Have not seen any trace of fleas on him. Bit stuck as to what to do next

I started using bravecto this year lasts 3months and is a tablet not spray.
No had any sign this year touch wood- last year poor dog had lots of fleas regularly with normal drops frontline
