Got to the yard this morning to find I had been broken into!
They had gone through everything, inc some rugs etc (no tack kept there!) and took:
my last bale of bedding
my shavings fork
2 headcollers and 3 lead ropes hanging outside the stables
my grooming bag
3 wormers, one equitape unused, and an equest and eqvalan duo, both of which only had about 100kg worth in each.....
Hay had been gone through too as tarp moved, however they'd struggle to shift two heston bales!
I'm flipping fuming, because its quite clear that this is someone with their own horse judging by what they took
. Either my rugs were the wrong size for their horse, or they didnt want them as they were postcoded. None of my 'riding' or lunging equip was taken either which is a good thing.
Police forensics team came out this afternoon, couldn't do much really although they took the cardboard box from a tube of sedalin which had been on top of the wormers and quite obviously picked up and moved. Hope they get the b*stards fingerprints.
My lovely local saddlery/feed place gave me 10% on my replacements, they really are the loveliest people in there!
Anyway, watch out if you are in the Sevenoaks area of Kent, nail everything down!
