I hope some of you UK folks can help me :)

A few years ago I had a friend who had the most gorgeous Black Country Bridle. Probably the nicest leather bridle I have ever come across.
I would love to find one for my pony, but I haven't been able to dig any up in Australia and the BC website doesn't have mention of them.

Does anyone know if they still make them? Any leads on where to find one to buy?
Happy to look overseas, even second hand wouldn't bother me.

Thanks for any leads!

PS. Suggestions for other nice, soft bridles are more than welcome :)

May I suggest you look up Fylde Australia? They may have some nice English bridles in stock that may be suitable for you. :)

Hi look on a Black Country website. I just brought a gorgeous saddle from there.

What did you end up getting, Northern? Malachys bridle just snapped- both cheek pieces broke and the bit fell onto the road, when we were just walking. Very odd. Kentaur bridle. So he needs another one.. his saddle is Black Country.

Bugger! That's not great :/ I ended up with a Lumiere bridle but not particularly impressed. I've just bought a Collegiate second hand to tide me over until I go to Europe, where I want to grab a Bridlery bridle to bring home. No luck on the BC bridles sadly.

Yes, I wasn't impressed! I've heard Lumiere recommended too, so interesting you were not happy. His trainer doesn't like the funny look of the collegiate ones (anatomic anyway), do you like yours? I checked the website and couldn't see any BC bridles. Looking for at least an anatomic head piece.

I didn't like the leather and it hasn't worn particularly well, barely a year old. My Collegiate isn't an extreme anatomic but has some ear cutout. Haven't tried it yet, will this weekend! I can send you a picture if you like :) The Bridlery bridles look lovely and comfortable hence I am keen to try one! But won't pay the extortionate postage fees.
