Has anyone ridden in or uses one of these saddles?

I am very fortunate to have a supportive Mum who (following the very recent retirement of my current horse) agree that once she has had time to save up I should be able to get my dream of a young show jumping prospect, at the end of my A Levels. I am now hi king of an ideal saddle, my dream would be a prestige!

I want something comfortable, technically designed (made with compeititon in mind etc.) and secure.
I loved the Albion K2 but heard some unfortunate reviews regards damage to the nether regions so have turned my back!

I saw one at HOYS so...
Do they give you security?
Are they comfortable?
Is it suitable for show jumping?
I doubt I will ever do cross country as I have an irrational fear of rotational falls!
Thank!

Every saddle, every rider and every horse is different, I really wouldn't take too much notice of rider issues with a brand, the models vary anyway, and we're all built differently. It might be the perfect brand for youhorse! Equally the Vinici may not fit your horse, ahve you ridden in a monoflap before as not everyone likes them, and the limited girthing options do mean that even if the tree fits the horse you are slightly limited in how much it can adapt - as a fitter I use all sorts of different girthing options (from 4 straps) for each shape of horse.

The K2 tree seems to fit a vast number of horses and always sell. Would not touch a Black Country at all having had my eyes opened to the poor workmanship on this make.

However, as others said, no point in getting excited about a particular saddle as it may not fit your horse. I LOVE the Albion Lite but nothing short of surgery would make my horse fit this tree. He fitted a K2, then changed and now is in a bespoke.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED my Black Country vinici jump saddle. Was the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden in. Only reason I sold it was because it didn't fit my current horse.
I've only ever ever heard good reviews from other users so surprised by above. But as others have said, really does depend on your horse! :)

P.s mine was adapted from the mono flap... Was was like a normal saddle. My instructor owned before me (from new) and it didn't like the mono flap so worth trying before you buy one? Or get the flap put on like mine

I would be very interested to hear about poor workmanship on BC saddles as they have a pretty good reputation, the sort of quality you would expect for the price.

Teen 2 has a Black Country Vinici Tex Eventer (I think that's its name!) and she absolutely loves it. She's a tall leggy thing who likes a flatter seat and not much in the way of blocking and it suits her down to the ground. It fitted our 16.3 TB and now fits our 16.2 WB/ISH cross. There doesn't seem to be any bad workmanship - the saddler checks it once a year and has always been very happy with it.
