Black Friday bargains ??

The only bargain I've found so far is with Henry James Saddlery, good discount on fab quality items.

Very disappointed with the likes of Falpro, who raised their prices so the black friday offer 'seems' a good deal  not cool...

Yes I bought some new reins with 40% off. Was tempted by some new stirrup leathers but wasn't sure what size I needed and travelling for work so can't measure.

Redpost equestrian have a selection of things between 20% and 50%. Was tempted by the Dublin warm it tights at 50% off but I have too many jods and they don't fit in my drawer as it is.

Most of the big names just work it as a massive con, but I've seen some good (non horsey) bargains in local shops and businesses this week. I did get a nice soft shell jacket for £14 reduced from £35, and I've been looking at it for months so I know it really was £35 to begin with :)

I bought the 48" for my jump saddle and they are perfect, I have very short legs (although I am only 5'3" to start with) so I imagine they are more kids length lol, if that helps?

Ive just ordered a terracotta dressage pad from Horse Heath for £25.00 :D not that i need that ;)
Rideaway have 20% off everything with code RABF18

For those looking for high denier rugs i ordered one of these a few months ago from, with the fleece lining its kind of like a 50g fill, I've been using it a lot on my boy when i turn him out after work. The fit is really generous and it is soooo light. I'm unsure how it will stand up in heavy rain but it has been the rug i have used most this year :) as it doesnt have the thick heavy outer (this is why i question the waterproofness) he comes in dry when put on a bit sweaty or wet :)
And for £35.00 i think its great :D

Ive had them. They did well over a wet winter. No leaks only changed it because the pony grew 🙄

Whereas I'm 5'7"/5'8" with long legs for my body. But I wanted them for jumping and do put my stirrups right up for xc. I'd be really annoyed with myself if I bought them now as it would mean 2 x postage charges but I'll measure so I know next time they have a sale. Didn't need the leathers but really did need the reins so it's fine.

I dunno, I bought mine on sale because it was a Halloween special which they only had running for 2 days from their Facebook site. It went back up to normal/original price after that offer.
Then they’ve put sale price back on for Black Friday. Considering it’s £255 from £315 I think it’s a decent enough discount!

On previous threads it was stated they were around £250 but not that that was a sale price? I'll stand corrected if they were previously also on offer, it did just look like they were just raising prices beforehand like most do.

Harry Hall club have some great bargains, you have to join for £10 one off fee for the year, but there are huge savings, including rugs.

Thanks for this. I've just bought a Protech Masta FIR rug down to £99 (£89 if you are a club member). Was going to buy another Back on Track but thought for about £80 less it was worth a punt.

I got a quarter sheet instead of a walker rug (it makes sense to me honestly, it'll do the job I need it too) and a stable rug from Harry Hall for good prices. Didn't join the club but still got bargains at nearly 50% off each item. They seemed to have some good offers overall.

That was probably me, I bought one over halloween but it wasn't till after I bought it realised it was a halloween special price! They had the special discount post on their facebook, but just so happens I was lucky and didn't realise but still got the discount.
They do retail at the 310 price, but at least they do give a good discount for their special offers, you get quite a lot of rug for 255

I've bought a le Mieux saddle pad and matching bandages in peacock for my MIL to give me for Xmas and saved her a few pounds from Houghton. Also bought the prolite dressage girth but the only place I could find doing a bit of a discount (Naylors) didn't have the right size. what I really want is a blingy browband but I've bought a bridle from a friend and it has quite a head piece as it's anatomical and most won't fit so may have to buy another bridle for best (which is something i don't do but I really want a bit of bling).
Sorry should have said the head piece is thicker than usual.

It not, I very nearly bought that one elsewhere at £58 well before black Friday, they have hiked it and then lowered it.
Oh ok. I've seen it at £67 elsewhere. But also down at £61 which I thought was another offer. I'll keep an eye on it though rather than buy it now so thank you.
