Watch out for this syndrome, symptoms include...
Looking all pretty and as though butter wouldn't melt.
Luring you in to love and adore her.
Allowing slave to pamper and care for you, showing no gratitude what so ever.
Not standing still on the yard as soon as something important needs to be done.
Snapping back on baling twice twice within two minutes just as the crucial point of vet wrapping a poultice.
Being rude and horrible.
Snapping the wooden bar that closes the gap between yard and field.
Throwing head around when being lead because can't get her own way.
There may also be other symptoms, both on the ground and when ridden.
If anything, your patience will become better, and you will learn to do a very stern "NO", an exasperated "BEHAVE" and a sharp "OI" as she raises her leg to paw at the fence, to which your mare will literally poo herself.
*walks out of tack room, effing and blinding about stupid black mare with serious case of chronic black mare syndrome*
