So..... if I find the perfect bridle for my WBxTB filly, what colour should I go for? I'm assuming brown because it's traditionally the appropriate colour but black is SO widely available these days, is this not really applicable anymore?

My filly is bright bay, is going to finish 16.2 - 16.3 hands and is of fairly light build. What do you think I should go for?

Ive got a bright bay, and had exactly the same dilemna.... had a black bridle which was gorgeous, but just looked a bit "harsh" on her.. now have a gorgeous deep nutty brown bridle on her which is STUNNING and suits her so much more

My boy is bright bay (ish!), and I have him in brown tack. It looks favb, but also know a bright bay with black tack that also looks nice. Think it's down to personal preference tbh!

i had my horse in black but it looked a bit harsh if that makes sense?
i've now bought her a rich chocolate/nutty brown saddle (sounds similar colour to KatB's) and going to get bridle made to match soon - just saving up (as always!)

I have mine in both - black for dressage and dark havana for jumping. I think he looks good in both, but I prefer black tack in general (so much easier to match bridle and saddle which is a must for me).

FB is in black - so I can get matching tack. We are all synthetic so black tends to be black, whereas the browns can be rather different. I do like a nice set of matching Havanna tack though.
