Black or brown tack on a grey?

I dont know if theres any rules for showing ect.

But debating getting a brown bridle for my welsh a,

She looks v.nice in her brown headcollar.

What do you all think?

I vote for black, it looks smarter and matches the leg colour, giving a more streamlined look. But, brown looks more expensive, I think
 
It is the prefered colour for showing yes!!
For small local shows it probably dosnt matter but if the judge has 2 horses that are both possibly first place horses but one is in brown tack and the other is in black the judge will give the first place to the one in brown tack.
It is definatly a must in higher level local and county level shows and affliliated stuff!
I have a brown set of tack for showing but it looks old and tired in comparison to my nice black dressage stuff and brown is a real b***ger to clean as it changes colour when oiled!
 
Brown all they way, yes correct for showing but regardless of that I much prefer it as I think it looks alot softer and smarter, black can be harsh. You can get lovely dark havana stuff which is what my boy is in and I think it looks very smart, we do show and hunt though but he did used to be in black.
