My Welsh C is black with 4 socks. What colour pants should I wear for In hand? Was always told to wear the opposite of the horses leg colour, but I've seen plenty people showing with black pants on with a black pony.
Well, black are easy to get (and, less charitably, flattering on the fuller figure...) so lots of people will wear them with /any/ animal. But it is the pony who you're supposed to be showing off so a pale colour will make it easier to see his/her legs...
Awaits a proper showing person coming along with more complicated rules (dark trousers near dark legs for if you want to hide the fact your pony only has three or something?!?).
Welshies are pretty though... fancy positing some pictures for me too drool over/more helpful people to use for advice? ;-)
