Black velvet hat cover with green tweed?

Seems like a bargain.
Personally I prefer tweed jackets for adults without the velvet trimmings as Im a traditionalist, so that jackets perfect very low key, just as it should be.
You can get allsorts of buttons for tweeds the foxhead type, whip and hunting horn etc reletively (sp) cheap and easy enough to replace.
As for the hat BLUE always BLUE never EVER EVER is black correct (sorry)
I was channelling my old pony club chief of turnout police for a moment there

Do you think I can get a blue velvet hat cover easily enough? I take it black gloves are ok.

The brand is Sherwood, do these jackters wear well or do they fall apart.

Thanks.

A navy velvet cover is easy enough and cheap enough to get a hold of seen them on ebay for less that a £10.
Sherwood are a good old fashioned make, you can buy vintage ones from years ago still looking good today.
Technically black gloves mean your in mourning and therefore you shouldnt be riding, brown are the correct colour, but then again im a turnout Nazi when it comes to these things.
I made my mum wear garter straps for a pony club tack and turnout competition and polished the soles of her boots. LOL
