Hi,I am new so forgive me if this has been asked before, I have a blue Blagdon gypsy mare, two blue eyes, I would like to breed from her and produce another Blagdon, would I get that from a Blagdon stallion? Not sure if a stupid question or not!

Most likely, yes. Blagdon is typically the pattern called "sabino" in other breeds and it's hypothesised that Blagdon is homozygous sabino. However, this may not be the case. If your horse or the stallion looks Blagdon but is in fact heterozygous for the allele, the foal may just have white leg markings or even end up being solid... Your best bet is to choose a stud that has produced many Blagdon foals before, as well as being Blagdon himself. The blue eyes are most likely unrelated, by the way, and there's no guarantee you'll get those passed on too.
