Ok ok, I know it's a bit early but I finish work today until after Blair so getting it sorted now!

So, who's all going, what are you all doing and do you all fancy meeting up for a drink? And if anyone stays in Perthshire what's the weather doing atm?

I'm going, only watching this year.

I'm not far from Blair and it's been very wet. Sunny today so hopefully more of the sme next week, the sun that is. It's also very windy, so the ground is drying nicely!

Up for a drink whenever.

Woohoo, we're going to camp & watch. Think there will be about 9 of us in the lorry at 1 point & 3 dogs. That'll be fun!

Mum & I are going up Wed night or Thurs am & the rest are joining at various points over the weekend

Defo up for a meet up. I love Blair!

Oh I really didn't want to hear that it was raining, suppose nothing short of a monsoon would make it as bad as last year though! Are your fields not too bad? I know in previous dry years the ground has been too firm, so kinda hoping that the ground will be alright regardless of the rain!

I'm not 100% sure of when I'll be jumping, pretty sure Jack's number is 447 though so watch out for a short bay horse called Upside Down II in the 1.10m classes and grab me on the way out. I think there's a few HHoers going so we should def all make an effort!

Me..........

I am in CCI* section A, getting there Tuesday evening. Trot up on Weds am, dressage Weds pm, XC Fri & SJ on Sat am. I am No: 5 so should be easily spotted. Make sure you come & say hi.

I am going, camping going for the whole time.

Our fields are saturated at the moment - I got stuck in a gateway last night with a 4x4! sorry!

Joss I will try to come and watch you, won't be there for your stressage but will try to get out and about XC and watch the SJ. Nic I don't think TOO many of the Scottish crew have really random names, but will doubtless be amusing nevertheless! Pepperandoran I REALLY didn't want to hear that, lets just pray for warm dry windy weather for the rest of the week. Mind you, my dad said that we'll be catching the tail end of a hurricane at the end of next week so not looking especially likely - camping could be interesting!

US!

Have PM'd you my mob x

Fab, cheers Nic!

So I have JenniferB and Nic01 keen, anyone else interested send me a PM and we can organise a BBQ, let me know whether Fri or Sat would be better and we can sort summat out.

Mr FigJam "invested" in a giant gazebo recently, so we can take that to sit under even if it's wet, and we have a decent sized charcoal BBQ that should keep a decent no. of people fed, so you'll just need to bring camping chairs and grub/alcohol!
smile.gif

And Nic01's Mum! We also have a gazebo to offer, though it has mesh sides, at least it won't blow over in the wind... but there won't be any...it will be lovely!

ETS: either day suits.

Ha ha, I figured people would be coming with other's, don't worry, just so we can swap contact details etc and manage to find each other! I'm sure we won't have to restrict numbers!
wink.gif
Additional gazebo also good, we'll be bigger than the secretary's tent soon...!

im going im no 237 in the CCI**. loads of fingers crossed for me please as i am goin to need it!!
Best of luck Joss i will be out to see you and feel free to pop in for a wee cheeky tipple!

Please weather forecast... cheer up!!!

We are a bad weather jinx- any time we go camping, it rains constantly, so apologies to all!
wink.gif
It's a 4man though with only 2 of us in it and we have the obligatory air bed etc, so it's not too bad.

bally_horses, good luck, you'll be great I'm sure. Best of luck to all the other HHO-riders as well.

Sorry!

Honestly though, the weather hates us! We went camping in June and the forecast was snow in Fort William!!

So we re-routed to Kirriemuir and had giant hailstones as we pitched instead!

TPO- glad to hear it, I have your no. already, so can text to confirm next week when we come to a decision.

Looks like everyone's happy for it to be either Fri or Sat, so may as well say Fri while everyone's still excited to be there and not tired from traipsing round XC all day on Sat?!

I'll start sun dancing now...! Last year was pretty miserable, I felt so sorry for the riders sloshing around in the mud, there were actual trenches in the dressage arenas and the warm up was 90% mud, 10% grass (where the fence posts were!).
