Well having only owned Chickens since the 15th May this year ( my birthday pressie) the bloody fox has taken one beautiful big brown Gersey Giant and my beautiful Buff Orpington young hen 
They had been free range and loved pootling about the paddock and helping the horses eat their tea.
How do you stop the wicked fox. I am thinking of the electric fence route but it's so blinkin expensive and I'd have to buy another energiser and they are rather damned costly. This was supposed to be a stress free hobby
