Blaze's Solihull PN report - new jockey required please...

I don't know you personally but always read your posts on here - following your progress from Jerry onwards - and I have to say not only are you one of my favourite posters but what you've done with Jerry and Blaze and all the other horses you ride for other people makes you in my mind very inspiring and clearly a talented jockey. We all go through bad patches, lapses in confidence, but from what I know of you through this forum, I know that one thing you'll never do is admit defeat or give up when the going gets tough. So chin up girl and keep riding and posting because I love reading about your adventures

How you write Mad hector reminds me off myself at times.... The bits your not happy about, think of as a learning curve, in other words that wasnt the right way to ride the s.j. so i will find a way which works better!

On a plus point you cant have been that bad as not once have you said you felt your horse lacking in confidence, which shows he is trusting you, by the sounds of it you just need to improve on a touch of ringcraft!

Take the positives from the day, ABSOLUTELY STOP thinking of the negatives turn them into positives and move on, you have to totally believe in yourself, your a good rider as good as anyone!

It onwards and upwards, dont keep reinforcing the bad bits in your brain its not good!

And well done!

Awwww E!!!

I looked up your result before you posted on here and I couldn't wait for you to post when I saw your FANTASTIC result!

Sorry to hear you had a bit of a confidence crisis but I would imagine that the crap you have been dealing with has a lot to do with that - NOT your riding.

Focus on the good bits if you can - your wee superstar is helping you out and that is brilliant! Plus his record is looking fabulous so who cares if you had an off day.

Hope you feel better soon xx

I think I must have missed something...coz I'm not sure why you are feeling down about things.
But, that is a GREAT result for you and Blaze... and I hope things pick up soon.. x

i was checking you results all yesterday afternoon- do not be so hard on yourself- we all have cr*p days but that is an AMZING result- very very well done!

xxxxx

Thankyou

You are right - I wont give up, but I seriously need to sort out my sjing before nursted... I think maybe there just wasnt enough canter in the warm up, he felt flatter than usual I maybe I needed to rev him up a bit more, problem is once I missed once I then rode like an idiot...

Thanks everyone else - I know I should be pleased, and I am really pleased with him... he was a superstar as usual.

April - think you are right, everything is getting to me now, and after friday I just lost the ability to ride, hopefully once this is all sorted will feel better about things
