Bleeding after gelding

I've only had two cut prior to this guy so have pretty limited experience. How long do they tend to bleed for afterwards? 3yo Sec A was done on Friday 13th (what was I thinking?!) and is still losing blood, not gushing by any means but more than a few drops. He's fine in himself but is looking more swollen, it's been pretty muggy so I'm inclined to think the flies could have been at him and he's picked up an infection? Hopefully just a case of antibiotics and some more bute, will give the vet a call tomorrow. The other two definitely weren't still bleeding at this point, it's not normal is it?

Better safe than sorry. Temp is fine but I'd rather nip anything in the bud than take chances

def call vet. I'd one that bled for a week after gelding. vet had to come each day to keep wound open so it would drain properly and I had to give antibiotics. if it seals over with an infection inside you could be in trouble, better to get vet to look asap
