I have a welsh cob gelding, 13 years old. He had a sarcoid removed off his face when he was younger. About a year ago he developed one on his lower chest on the left which up till now has caused no problems. It has got slightly bigger recently and started to look more warty. Yesterday it started bleeding but not excessively, and not enough for it to drip, if that makes sense. Is it something to worry about now it is bleeding?
He has also got one starting to appear on his girth area, very annoying!

Get the vet out and get them treated, if you leave them they will get worse and especially in the girth area, this will leave him incapable of being ridden

I would get your vet to treat them as soon as possible. Once a horse has sarcoids they can be very difficult to clear up completely, as you are seeing. The bleeding and appearance of another shows they are active again, so rather than wait until more appear it would be easier to treat them now.

I do sympathise, I had a mare with recurring sarcoids which were treated 3 or 4 times, then they suddenly stopped!
