Blemish on fetlock!

Hi all!
Went to look at an ex-race horse today she was fine in every way except a 'Blemish on one of her fetlocks'. He told me she was sound and had raced and hunted on it and has been fine. It happened when she was a youngster and is about an inch long and just looks like an old scar, shes very forward going ,has a lovely temperant and would be a great project for my daughter!
Would this be advisable to go for or should i steer clear?

Personally if she ticked all your boxes then I would get your vet to look at her to establish whether the scar tissue laid down is impinging her in anyway. If not then if you are not looking to show, then go for it. I say.

I agree with above- get vet to just have a look over it and advise whether it would cause a problem. The only downside is that if they find anything it will count against your insurance.
