Sounds like he skidded into the fence, but not sure which one.

Pippa is next to go!

I must be being dim - but I can;t find anything out about whats happening at Blenheim - the 'live audio' on their site is just a random radio station. How are you finding out your info???

They keep switching to Blenheim and then back to the radio station, keep listening and you'll hear Lucinda F in a while!

Had a great time at Blenheim yesterday and today - although got a bit wet this morning!!!

Didn't see every horse go XC but was very impressed with Macchiato (WFP's first ride - 8 yr old gelding). He showed some class work for such a young horse at that level and I think he's gonna be one to watch. Brithday Night had a run out/ refusal at the arena fence - not sure which one as wasn't there but I think it may have been the first part of the 2 large corners there - being on a difficult angle from the previous fence (8). The first few riders did well and had some nice clears. Ensign and Pippa Funnell really showed some style and was dead impressed with their XC round. Apart from a sticky moment at the bounce into the water (where he bashed his stifles hard on the second part) I think it was great - although didn't see all of it as was stood watching only a few. She really flew around and looked soooo confident on him. I think he was also entered for Burghley but decided to take him to Blenheim and by that round it was an excellent judgement - he looked so much more confident than he did last year and I hop they hold on to that win.

Walked some of the course yesterday with Ginny Elliott and 2 Simon's (Lawrance and Lucey). Simon Lucey rode a horse called Bowjangle and was the youngest rider there - he showed some class moments although a couple of sticky moments - well impressed with that ride. Only one horse inside the time - Sir Percival and Francis Whittington - another fab round and (correct me if I'm wrong) but he was quite a bit inside the time too - must have ridden that course very cleverly to save that much.

Problems were spread out around the course - saw a few at the Sunken Road. the arena fence and the first water (bounce in). It certainly was a good day - didn't catch the last few as needed to get home.

surprisingly as this is a thread about XC at Blenheim, a 3DE the talk is about eventing. If you start a racing thread then I expect people will talk racing!
