I have been very good for the past few months. Minimal horsey gear has been purchased. So I may need to put that right and spend some money.

Been musing on bling browband for a while, having sworn for a number of years there was no way I would be seen out in diamonte :D

So - Bling - yes or no? Perhaps she already has sufficient natural bling and would be best understated?
If yes - suggestions of colours/types - nothing to eye watering please, you will need to break me into this gently

Apologies, my ability to post pictures is slim to nil so link may have to do

A bit of bling never hurts:)

Agree with Abbeygale, something understated perhaps as her white face is so pretty and striking. I'd want to emphasis it rather than go OTT! There's now so many different types of bling styles it's worth looking around different sites and seeing if there's any you particually like the look of. Ebay's good for browsing a range of variety in styles, not always for quality though!

Flicking through your pictures, I really like this picture http://s92.photobucket.com/user/eledajack/media/Embla%20Phoenix%20Piper/Prizegiving_zps80447726.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 the shape of browband really suits her:)

Bling bling bling bling!!!

Size wise, I don't think she wants anything too wide as not got a particularly broad forehead. I think a curve shape suits all horses so that's where I'd start.

As a ginge with a lovely white face, I think if you play on orange/topaz colours it would really compliment her rather than being *in your face*

I think this could look very smart, esp with the white padding on the noseband and not too OTT:

I immediately thought of the jet Equiture one which was posted on their Facebook today, and Nikkimariet has already posted the link (the last one) - I think that would look subtle but fabulous!! X

I was just thinking this as I scrolled down... But you beat me to it!! That one was lovely!

My sister bought me a black crystal browband for my grey and it's really pretty and quite subtle.

PS, I don't know how a sparkly browband ruins a head, it isn't stapled on after all! :p

No bling, hate it the most I'd ever get is a small dimante browband. But those dimante reins seen people with them at shows and whatever, no offence to anyone who wears them but abosloutely hate them!

See the bottom one is okay, but I'm struggling to feel the love for the equiture browbrands. I know I'm a rubbish dressage diva !!!

I've seen this that I think I like

Or do I dust keep the Sabre one that elliebrewer linked to and instead spend my cash on the brown schokemole dressage training boots I'm also lusting over, lol!

I think the one you've picked out would suit your mare :)

There's no point buying something you're not sure about - but if you did get a new one I vote the one you've picked or the black equiture one. I think either of those would look stunning in an understated fashion!

How about a brass clincher brow band instead? You can polish the brass up and it is just a subtle bit of shininess :)

I prefer the one you linked, than any of the ones that NMT linked to (sorry NMT!!! ;) ), but I think as your girl has such a striking face already, less will be more :)

Agree with this I have a mare with very similar markings chestnut with a big blaze that all
Lost goes over her eyes. Have just ordered one of this colour from equiture will post a pic when it comes to give you an idea x

I've always been anti-bling until my ISH went out and bought my TB a bling browband for Christmas. He's got a really pretty little head and the curved discreet blingy browband really suits him so I think I may be converting slowly to the dark side.

(I even found myself browsing the Dressage Deluxe sale yesterday :o and added things to my basket until I decided I was being silly and deleted everything!)

No worries - wouldn't the world be a boring place if everyone liked the same thing!!!
