Now this will be boring as hell to some but I just had the best morning. My dad came and got me after he had picked up new wooden stabs for the fencing and got the boy out and I had some cuddles and then dad put him out to keep and eye on him whilst he fixed the fencing.

Dad deposited me with my tack on the bench and me on a chair well padded with Farans rugs and I stripped his saddle and bridle and leather headcollar and gave them a good clean and polish.

Just being outside was great for how I’ve been feeling. As I said won’t mean much to many but it really made my month

Living in Scotland has its perks ?? rains here most weeks been smirring on and off all day.

Honestly it’s amazing what perks you up. I think I was driving my dad crazy but definitely helped my mental state to be out and being constructive

Definitely! Just being outside on the yard listening to the farm animals and watching the horses whilst cleaning my tack just relieved so much tension

Doing stuff with your Dad, it sounds like you had a lovely time, I used to do things like that with my Dad. Make the most of him, you'll miss him like crazy when he's gone, although I'm sure it won't be for a long time yet.

I do as well! Used to do that as a yard girl way back when ? sitting in the sun in the yard surrounded by rack with my best friend laughing away. Great memories
