Yesterday the dentist came in for a rountine check up. He told me that my pony has a blister just up from his lip. I have recently tried a new bit on him (frenk link snaffle sort) however he appears to be really happy in it so i am surprised that it would have done this.
Anyway today instead of riding him I got stuck in (much to the pony's digust) and found the blister, and its huge!!! Its about an inch up from the corner of his mouth and resembles a white grape.
I am obviously not riding him with his mouth like this however can anyone offer me advice as to how long it should take to heal, if i can help it along in anyway or any possible other causes than the bit?
Before anyone panics I will also contact my vet
