Okay so i went down to the stables last night and noticed my little yearling had some blisters on his nose/mouth, they are not cracked or sore just little raised bumps. The only way a can describe them is when us humans get a blister and it fills up with liquid and just looks full and raised. The only thing i can think of is that there is lots of buttercups in the field, i have not been able to weed kill them as it has been raining. He is only 8hh so they would touch his face area quite easily. He is still eating and drinking normally nothing has changed, i have touched them and he doesnt seem too bothered. Anyone have any ideas?
vet is coming next week to do vaccinations anyway so i will get her to have a look but is there anything i could put on them such as aloe vera gel or something to help? but they havent popped so not sure :S
Thanks for any replys!
