I'm a BAD HHO... I've keep leaving my camera at home but yes he's arrived and OMG he's a total love...

He arrived on Saturday and was a little on edge so I stabled him and brought Po in to keep him company. We just had a chat and a cuddle and a brush.

On Sunday he went out. We left headcollars on just in case they all went nuts but they didn't in typical Cob fashion he put his head down and started eating! Brought him in that afternoon and had to dive to the saddlers to buy a longer girth! Then rode him - just a gentle walk trot round the school - nothing exciting... but I'd changed his bit (he was in a WIlkie at his old house and banged him in a loose ring french link cos it's what I had and prefer...) he was so good.

On Monday (I love bank holidays) I took him for a hack on his own and again he was a saint - a couple of small spooks but nothing to write home about and as he is barefoot I was worried about walking over our gravel drive but he didn't bat an eye lid.

Tues I had to work long hours so my mum took him out for a hack - again no issues and she's a scaredy cat!

Wed - First schooling session. Well all I can say is he's a little star! He's so willing and tries his heart out for you - Never done lateral work before but by the end of the session he could do half a side of shoulder in -- He's a babe.

Today we did a little bit of jumping which he's never done before again just took it all in his stride.

I can't believe how much I've missed riding a cob... having ridden a WB for the last 10 years I forgot what I was missing!! He's like a welshie but without the arguement..

Blitz

Photos will follow when I remember my canter... when he arrived he was spotless -- he's a bit mucky now -- has a habit of pooing on his tail - What Can I say - no one's perfect!!

Yes a very very naughty HHO.

You must be punished! A bathtime and photo session! Really really pleased for you, cobs are fab.

Such a shame I can't fit a traddy into a spare stable :D:D:D
